A focus on Brazil
This year the festival puts the spotlight on Brazilian culture, as 2026 is the China-Brazil Cultural Year. The headliner is the Brazilian singer Fafá de Belém. Brazilian chef Rose Ávila will be cooking, and the urban artist Fábio Panone Lopes, known for murals and graffiti, will be creating work on site.
Also on stage are EPO Dance from Equatorial Guinea and the Timor Furak dance troupe from East Timor, plus more than 40 local Portuguese-speaking artists.
