Stockholm Gallery Weekend: make an art trail for 6–8 November

Babylon Radio
Listen nowA new city becomes more familiar when you find places you want to return to. Gallery Weekend Stockholm, from 6 to 8 November 2026, offers a reason to step inside its contemporary galleries, encounter different artists and build your own afternoon around the exhibitions that catch your eye. Visit Stockholm lists the weekend across the city.
The organiser’s programme brings together exhibitions, artist conversations, performances and guided tours. Choose a couple of stops rather than trying to cover everything.
Start with something that surprises you
At Galleri Flach, Hudiksvallsgatan 4, Peter Hagdahl’s Networks, Surfaces and Allegories combines painted figures, drawings and moving projections. A transparent screen, a horizontal sculpture and layered images create different ways of looking at how the outside world shapes us. The gallery’s exhibition runs from 5 November to 12 December.
At Wetterling Gallery, Nathalia Edenmont’s Here I Am moves from portraits and elaborate photographic compositions to sculpture. The exhibition spans more than two decades of her work, bringing together butterfly pieces, eggs and marble forms.
Add a conversation to your afternoon
On Saturday 7 November, collector Mikael Ståhl speaks with Artlover’s David Castenfors at Galerie Nordenhake, Lützengatan 1, from noon to 1pm. Follow the organiser’s programme to its booking page for talks and walks.
The weekend’s advertised gallery hours are Friday noon–7pm, Saturday noon–6pm and Sunday noon–4pm. Use the official programme to choose your exhibitions and book a walk or talk that interests you. Bring a friend, compare favourite works afterwards, and make room for a gallery you have never visited.
