Spirit of Mexico at Expo City Dubai: tickets and what to expect on 24 October

Babylon Radio
Listen nowMexican music, dance and food will fill Al Wasl Plaza at Expo City Dubai on Saturday 24 October 2026. The Spirit of Mexico runs from 4pm to 10pm, with standard admission advertised at AED30.
The outdoor celebration is being organised with Dubai’s Mexican community. It is open to visitors of all nationalities, according to the organiser’s ticket listing, making it an opportunity to explore a community celebration without needing an invitation or membership.
What is on the programme?
The line-up brings together cultural performances, a Parade of Memories, food stalls and a retail market. A Young Entrepreneurs Market and creative workshops are also listed, alongside an evening screening of Coco.
For families, the important distinction is between entry and extras. The booking page says one children’s workshop is included with admission, available on a first-come basis while supplies last. Additional workshops, food and drinks cost extra. Arriving early may give children a better chance of joining the included activity, but admission does not guarantee a workshop place.
Tickets and the children’s age rule
Standard tickets are listed at AED30. Parents bringing a three-year-old should check the admission rule before booking: Expo City’s listing says children aged three and under enter free, while the ticket page’s detailed terms say children aged three and above need a ticket. The published information does not resolve that difference.
Use the current booking page to check availability and any conditions before travelling. The event’s 4pm to 10pm hours are Dubai local time.
Getting ready for the visit
Expo City’s official event page identifies the venue as Al Wasl Plaza and describes the event as accessible, family-friendly and pet-friendly. It lists free parking at Jubilee Parking E, including accessible spaces.
This is an outdoor evening event. Check the organiser’s listing again before setting off, particularly if you are travelling specifically for an activity: the advertised programme does not provide a confirmed running order for each performance.
