Paris’s free jobs fair returns on 5–6 November: how to prepare

Babylon Radio
Listen nowLooking for work in Paris? Paris pour l’emploi returns to Place de la Concorde on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November 2026, from 10am to 6pm each day. Entry is free, and the organiser confirms that you do not need to register or bring an invitation.
The City of Paris’s latest announcement lists more than 1,800 opportunities across jobs, apprenticeships, internships and career changes. The fair covers 350 occupations, with employers and training providers meeting candidates face to face. It welcomes people with or without qualifications and previous experience.
Prepare before you go
For newcomers learning how recruitment works in France, the practical starting point is the official Paris pour l’emploi website. Browse the advertised opportunities before travelling and make a shortlist of organisations that match your experience or the training you want to explore.
You can create or update a candidate profile and upload your CV to help prepare your search. That online preparation is separate from entry to the fair, which remains open without registration.
Bring several printed copies of your CV. The organiser specifically warns that printing is not available onsite. Preparing a short introduction about your skills and the type of role you want can also make conversations easier. Note any questions about the working language, qualifications and application process for each vacancy.

Support and practical details
The city says there will be a dedicated area for disabled workers, with employment advisers available. If you need a French Sign Language interpreter, the organiser asks you to contact your Cap emploi service in advance.
The venue is Place de la Concorde in the 8th arrondissement, served by Métro lines 1, 8 and 12 at Concorde. Opening hours are the same on both days. No catering is provided onsite, so plan your food break around your visit.
The City of Paris stand will also share information about its recruitment and the city’s 11 Points Paris Emploi, which offer employment, training and career guidance. If you are still deciding what to apply for, that gives you another place to ask about next steps.
Check the official event website before setting out, and keep a note of the employers you speak to so you can follow their application instructions afterwards.
