Milano Music Week 2026: free gigs, DJ sets and an open stage

Babylon Radio
Listen nowMilano Music Week returns from 16 to 22 November 2026, giving residents a week of concerts, DJ sets, talks and chances to discover the city’s music scene. You can listen to independent artists, learn about Italian club culture or even bring your own songs to an open stage.
The tenth edition has its main hub at Fabbrica del Vapore, with other events spread across Milan. The official programme is still being updated. These four picks were listed when checked on 2 November, with free entry, although some require registration.
Hear music made outside the mainstream
Fuori Fase takes place at Nodo Bar on Tuesday 17 November at 6pm. Collettivo Fe-Lab brings together a discussion of do-it-yourself music and a live showcase by Scighera. The focus is on independent music made beyond the industry’s centre, from small towns and the suburbs to musicians’ bedrooms.
This is a useful choice if you want to understand how local scenes form, rather than simply hear familiar hits. Entry is free with registration through the event page.
Bring an original song, or discover someone new
Milano Inedita is a free open-stage night at Ragoo on Wednesday 18 November, starting at 10pm. Hosts Ellenoir and the Bonaccia provide the stage and instruments. Performers register when they arrive and wait their turn.
The rule is simple: original music only, with no covers. The organisers welcome different genres. For a newcomer who writes or performs, it offers a direct way to take part in the city’s music life. If you prefer to listen, it is also a chance to hear artists you may not yet know.
Choose a night of pop and electronic discoveries
MOONTELL’s evening at Mare Culturale Urbano starts at 8pm on Thursday 19 November at Cascina Torrette. The announced line-up includes Dente di Leone, Piccola Canaglia, Joel Luego and Lionel Pecci, alongside a DJ set from unFAUNO.
The programme brings together pop, alternative sounds and performance. Entry is free with registration. Follow the event’s own booking link rather than assuming that turning up will secure a place.
Finish the week with a DJ set
Aperitivo Progressivo takes place at Scirocco by mare culturale urbano on Sunday 22 November at 6pm. Gianni Parrini joins DJs from Progressiva.Club for an evening built around progressive and dream/trance sounds.
This is a different venue from Thursday’s MOONTELL event. It is free with registration, making it a useful option for listeners interested in discovering Italian club culture through a Sunday evening set.
Plan around the event you choose
Times above are local to Milan. Check each event page for its address and booking route before travelling. The festival includes paid events and private sessions as well as free ones, so the access rules for these four picks do not apply to the whole programme.
