Listen nowFrieze Abu Dhabi will take place from 19 to 22 November 2026 at Manarat Al Saadiyat, bringing more than 80 galleries from 64 cities and 37 countries and regions to the UAE capital. The opening day is an invitation-only preview. Public admission runs from Friday 20 November to Sunday 22 November, from 2pm to 9pm each day.

What visitors can expect
The fair is organised around several sections. The main Galleries section brings established and emerging programmes together. Frieze Masters Abu Dhabi focuses on art made before 2000, with an inaugural theme exploring the Indian Ocean as a route of cultural and commercial exchange.
Global Futures concentrates on artists and galleries from the UAE and the wider region. Focus gives younger galleries a more concentrated platform. Together, these sections should make it possible to move between historical material, established contemporary names and newer regional voices without leaving the venue.
The programme also includes commissions and public projects across the fair. The full timetable for talks and special events may be updated closer to November, so visitors building a one-day itinerary should check the official programme shortly before attending.
Who will find it most useful?
Frieze Abu Dhabi is likely to be most valuable for collectors, design and cultural-sector professionals, internationally mobile families, and residents who want a focused introduction to the region’s art market. It should also suit visitors already planning time in the Saadiyat Cultural District.
First-time art-fair visitors do not need specialist knowledge. A practical approach is to choose one or two sections in advance, allow time for pauses, and note any galleries or artists you want to revisit. The public opening hours give visitors seven hours per day, but seeing the entire fair in a single visit may still feel rushed.
Planning your visit
Manarat Al Saadiyat is on Saadiyat Island. Check the venue’s current transport and parking guidance before setting out, especially if you are travelling at peak evening hours. Keep your booking confirmation available on your phone and confirm whether your ticket permits re-entry or access on more than one day.
The fair states that the venue is fully accessible. Visitors who need a companion or carer ticket can request one on site. Anyone with specific access requirements should contact the organiser before travelling.
