Free Italian classes return for women and mothers in Rimini

Foreign women who want to build their confidence speaking Italian in Rimini can join a free course starting on Tuesday, 27 October 2026. The programme includes a children’s area, making it an option for mothers who would otherwise find it difficult to attend.

The Comune di Rimini announced the winter session on 23 October. Classes are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11am to 1pm, until 22 December, at the Nodo Territoriale di Salute Centro Storico’s multipurpose room, Via Gambalunga 110.

How to join

The organisers’ poster identifies the first lesson, at 11am on 27 October, as the registration session. It describes the course as an introduction to Italian for foreign women and mothers.

Language learning with local connections

The initiative brings together AUSL Romagna, the municipality, Casa dell’Intercultura, Associazione Arcobaleno and Cooperativa Eucrante. Its focus is practical: helping participants navigate daily life, get to know local services and make connections in the community.

According to the municipality’s report on the summer edition, 21 women attended with 19 children. Alongside lessons, that group explored the neighbourhood, visited the library and family centre, and shared a picnic. Those earlier activities show how the programme has connected language learning with everyday life, although the winter announcement does not promise the same outings.
