Free Dutch job-search advice: online support for Netherlands residents

Babylon Radio
Listen nowPeople already living in the Netherlands can get free online help with their job search through UWV EURES. Its Dutch Labour Market 101 sessions cover applications and give participants a chance to put questions to advisers.
The next listed dates after 26 October are 9 November, 23 November and 7 December 2026. They appear on IN Amsterdam’s career-support page and the Make it in the North events calendar.
Who is it for?
The official UWV registration page says the sessions are for people who live in the Netherlands. They may be useful if you are new to the local job market or are getting few responses to applications. This is job-search guidance, not an offer of employment.
Use that page to check the available session and sign up. EURAXESS Netherlands says registered participants receive a Microsoft Teams link. It also lists the option to book a short, 15-minute individual conversation after the group session. Check the joining instructions for your chosen date.
Do not confuse it with the four-day course
UWV also runs a separate online career workshop over four days. Although IN Amsterdam lists November dates, that course’s own registration page said the sessions were fully booked when checked on 26 October. It advises people to watch for a space.
The introductory 101 session has a separate registration page. Check it directly rather than assuming a listing guarantees a place. The remaining 2026 dates are part of an existing programme, not a newly launched service.
