Babylon Radio
Listen nowA free English-language session in Etterbeek on 18 November 2026 will help Brussels jobseekers find support. It will explain how to use experience gained abroad in a local job search.

Who the English session is for
The 18 November session is for jobseekers with little or no French or Dutch. Both newcomers and longer-term Brussels residents are welcome, at any experience level.
CIRÉ will cover diploma recognition, skills assessment, further study and job training. You can also meet other jobseekers and ask questions over lunch. Sandwiches are provided.
- When: Wednesday 18 November, 10am–1.30pm, local time.
- Where: Salle de l’Europe, Etterbeek Town Hall, Avenue des Casernes 31/1, 1040 Etterbeek.
- Language: English.
- Cost: Free, with advance registration.
Wait for your place to be confirmed
Use the form on the session page to request a place. The organiser’s registration rules make an important distinction: the first email only confirms that your request arrived. Your place is confirmed later, by email or phone.
Check your spam folder for messages. The form also has an option for people who do not have an email address or do not check it often. If you cannot attend after booking, tell the team so someone else can use the place.
For help with registration or questions about taking part, contact the employment team at emploi@etterbeek.brussels or 02 627 24 04.
More support through December
The wider programme covers reading job adverts, confidence, digital tools and starting a business. Check each activity’s page for its language and booking details; the whole programme should not be assumed to run in English.
A separate Job Dating event with local employers is planned for 10 December. The organiser says targeted preparation is required. Speak to your employment adviser about joining, rather than treating it as a walk-in job fair.
