Cockburn Mosaic Festival 2026: music, food and community at a free Treeby event

Babylon Radio
Listen nowCockburn’s Mosaic Festival returns to Treeby Reserve on Saturday 7 November 2026, bringing music, dance and food from different communities into one free afternoon and evening.
For newcomers in Perth’s southern suburbs, it is a chance to explore local cultural groups without committing to a ticketed show. Go for the performances, make time for the community stalls and keep a separate budget for anything you buy.
When, where and what it costs
The City of Cockburn’s event listing confirms 3pm to 8pm at Treeby Reserve, 1 Torwood Avenue, Treeby, Western Australia. Entry is free, but carnival rides and games cost extra. More than 20 food trucks are listed.
Free entry does not mean a free meal or an all-inclusive afternoon. Decide what you want to spend before browsing the food and market stalls, particularly if you are bringing children.
Music, dance and ways to join in
The council’s festival preview names Latin, Filipino and Māori dance and song, Japanese taiko drumming, a Scottish pipe band and the TTT Afro band. It also lists kite and origami workshops, henna and hair braiding.
Community stalls include the City’s Multicultural Reference Group and Jandakot Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade. These offer another reason to visit beyond the stage: a starting point for finding out who is active in your area.
A full stage timetable has not yet been published on the event page. Check again before travelling if there is a particular performance you hope to catch.
Plan your journey and access needs
Parking is limited, and the council encourages walking, cycling, scooting or car-sharing where practical. The event listing identifies accessible toilets, ACROD parking and accessible spaces, plus a water-refill station and first aid.
Dogs are allowed on leads. For questions about access or the programme, contact the council’s Events and Culture team on 08 9411 3444 before your visit.
