Balkan Trafik! 2026: three nights of music and a free Saturday at Brussels’ Bourse

Babylon Radio
Listen nowFolk-punk guitars, Greek hip-hop and a fashion show that connects traditional dress with contemporary design: Balkan Trafik! is turning Brussels’ Bourse into a meeting place for music and cultures from 19 to 21 November 2026. Its 20th-anniversary edition offers three evenings of discovery, plus a free Saturday afternoon for anyone who wants a first taste.
The appeal is the variety under one roof. The official festival programme spans two main stages, intimate semi-acoustic lounges, clubbing, talks, food and drinks. You can build an evening around a favourite act, then explore something you have never heard before.
A Friday night for musical discoveries
Friday 20 November brings a particularly inviting pairing. At 20:00, Greek rapper Eisvoleas and guests combine hip-hop with Greek musical traditions on the NEF stage. It is a way into a scene where rap and older sounds share the same space.
At 22:00, Bohemian Betyars and Besh o droM join forces for a special collaborative performance rather than two separate sets. Bohemian Betyars bring folk, punk and ska energy; Besh o droM draw on Hungarian, Romanian, Roma and wider Balkan traditions, with influences reaching into Greek, Turkish and Middle Eastern music. The set runs until 23:30.
You do not need a detailed knowledge of the artists to choose a night out here. Start with a sound that interests you, leave room to wander between spaces, and let the rest of the evening introduce you to something new.
Try the free Saturday afternoon
Saturday 21 November has a free programme from 14:30 to 18:00, a useful option for a smaller budget or a more relaxed first visit. The Saturday schedule includes discussions before the 17:00 fashion show.
The free fashion show puts traditional costume alongside contemporary design, with Marija Handmade from Serbia, CatalinaJ from Moldova and Belgium, and Rage Room from Croatia and the Netherlands. For visitors drawn to textiles, craft and the stories clothes can tell, it offers a different route into the festival.
