Amsterdam Dance Event 2026: Tickets, Free Events and 3 Picks

Babylon Radio
Listen nowAmsterdam Dance Event 2026 is under way and continues until 25 October. You do not need a professional pass to take part: buy a ticket for an individual club night, or register for free ADE Lab Discovery sessions. The three picks below combine Arabic music, Chicago house history and an Anatolian club night.
ADE marks its 30th anniversary this year. Its completed programme lists more than 3,600 artists and 1,300 events across over 300 Amsterdam venues. Start with one or two events you want to attend, then build a route around them.
Dates, entry rules and advertised prices were checked on 20 October 2026. Times below are local. Use the linked event pages to check availability before travelling.
Amsterdam Dance Event 2026: which ticket do you need?
For one club night, buy an individual ticket
Festival organisers sell their own tickets. Find the event in the official ADE programme and follow its booking link. Prices and entry rules vary, so check the address, arrival time and age limit. ADE says many festival events are 18+, with higher limits at some shows.
For industry talks and networking, consider the Pro Pass
The ADE Pro Pass is advertised at €795 plus fees. It includes the Pro conference, networking and access to official Festival and Arts & Culture events, but venue capacity limits apply. ADE Lab is not included.
A pass does not guarantee entry to every busy show. ADE’s FAQ recommends an individual ticket if there is a particular festival event you do not want to miss. Pro visitors need both their physical badge and wristband for festival entry. Collect them before your first event; the app’s Festival Access Map shows capacity information.
For a free daytime option, try Lab Discovery
ADE Lab Discovery continues through Friday 23 October at the Lab Village in Westerpark. Open sessions, cultural events and the Gear Test Lab are free, with registration requested in advance through the ADE ticket page. Follow the “Free” link on each listing. Do not confuse these sessions with the separate Lab On Track programme for selected participants.
Three picks for an ADE weekend
Friday afternoon: Arabic music at Radio Radio
From Tarab to the Dancefloor: 70 Years of Arabic Music takes place on Friday 23 October, from 15:00 to 16:00, at Radio Radio’s Listening Bar, Pazzanistraat 3. The listing marks it as free.
Georges Bou Saleh, founder of Toka Musik, traces a path from tarab and raï through pop to present-day club sounds. Choose this session if you want to learn about the music as well as hear it.
Friday evening: the story of Chicago’s Warehouse
Walk the Night & Wax Poetics Present: Street Wave is a free screening on Friday 23 October, from 20:15 to 21:15, in Room 2 at Het Ketelhuis, Pazzanistraat 4.
The episode centres on Robert Williams, founder of Chicago’s Warehouse and Music Box. Ron Trent narrates the documentary series, which uses interviews and archive material to explore underground dance music. Both Friday picks are on the same street in Westerpark, with time for a meal between them.
Saturday night: Anatolian sounds at Muziekgebouw
Tut Kalbimi Tut starts at 23:00 on Saturday 24 October and is listed to finish at 03:00 on Sunday 25 October. Oh Voyage joins DJs Afrobot and D.J. Klapsalon at Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, Piet Heinkade 1, for a night drawing on Anatolian folk, funk, disco and electronic music.
The venue’s ADE listings show a standard ticket price of €23, with CJP and Stadspas rates of €18.50. Check eligibility and the final total when booking. This is a separate journey from Westerpark, rather than another stop on the Friday route.
Plan your journey home before you leave
ADE’s travel guide lists five days of GVB travel for Pro Pass buyers. You receive the activation code when collecting your badge and wristband. Other ADE visitors can use the guide’s link for a 20% GVB day-ticket discount.
Check your return journey for the correct date, especially when an event finishes after midnight. Leave space for queues rather than booking consecutive shows in distant venues. For access needs such as step-free entry, seating or hearing support, check with each venue before booking: ADE events are run in many different buildings.
